Brands

A brand people
remember.

A logo is not a brand. A brand is the whole feeling somebody gets in the two seconds before they decide whether you are worth calling. Twenty five years of design goes into making those two seconds land.

What you walk away with

Drawn once.
Works everywhere.

The test of a mark is not whether it looks good big and full color on a screen. It is whether it still reads stitched on a cap, etched on a one inch sticker, cut in vinyl on a truck door at forty miles an hour, and dropped to one flat color on an invoice.

So it gets drawn for all of that from the start. Real type choices, a palette that holds up in print and on a screen, and the files to use every one of them without calling a designer first.

Lindale, Texas is home base. The work is not. Every build runs the same whether you are ten minutes up the road or three time zones away.

01

A mark drawn for you

Original artwork, not a stock icon with your name beside it. Explored properly before it is chosen.

02

Every file you need

Vector, raster, full color, one color, reversed, favicon, social. Named so you can find the right one.

03

Type and color locked

The fonts and the exact colors, written down, so everything you ever print or post matches.

04

A voice to go with it

How the business talks. The words that show up on the site, the ads and the front door.

05

Ready for the shop

Files that a printer, an embroiderer and a sign shop can all take without a phone call.

06

A brand sheet

One page that shows your team and any vendor exactly how to use it. No more stretched logos.

How a brand gets made

From blank page to badge.

  • 01Get the business straightWhat you do, who buys it, who else is out there, and what you want somebody to feel. This is the part most people skip and it shows.
  • 02ExploreReal directions, drawn properly, not three safe options and one throwaway. You see where the idea can go.
  • 03SharpenWe pick a direction and push it until every curve, weight and space is doing a job.
  • 04Build the kitEvery file, every lockup, the palette, the type and the sheet that keeps it consistent from here on.

Questions people actually ask

About branding.

Can you just do a logo?
Yes. Plenty of people start there. But a mark on its own with no type, color or rules tends to drift within a year, so the small brand kit is usually worth it.
I already have a logo. Can you work with it?
Absolutely. Sometimes it needs redrawing properly so it holds at small sizes, sometimes it just needs the rest of the brand built around it. Either way you keep what people already recognize.
Do I own the artwork?
Yes. Full rights, full files, handed over. You should never have to ask permission to use your own logo.
Can you put the new brand on my truck, signs and shirts?
I build the files so any shop can. Send me what the printer or sign maker needs and you get it in the right format the same day.
